Law Enforcement Associates Announces Comparison Video of Stun Gun with FMT Technology and Competitor's X-26 Weapon is Available for Viewing

/24-7PressRelease.com/ - YOUNGSVILLE, N.C., Jan. 9, 2005 - Law Enforcement Associates Corporation (OTCBB: LENF), a surveillance and security technology company, today announced that a side by side comparison of its new stun pistol with FMT (TM)Technology and the Taser X-26 pistol is now available for viewing on the LEA website www.leacorp.com.

In the video you will see three, side by side comparison firings of LEA's stun pistol with FMT(TM) Technology and its competitors X-26 stun pistol. Keep a careful eye on where each weapon's darts strike the target. Before a disabling shock can pass from a stun pistol through a violent assailant, BOTH of the darts launched from the pistol must contact the assailant. If only one of the darts launched from the stun pistol strikes the assailant, he or she will not be shocked or disabled. Tight firing patterns, which leave an effective spread of at least 5" but no more than 24", are most desirable. When the spread between a stun pistols two darts is greater than 24", the risk that one of the stun pistol darts will not strike the assailant is increased.

Finally, a stun pistol shock must have enough power to immobilize a violent assailant by preventing joint movement. You will see in the video how both LEA's new stun pistol with FMT(TM) Technology and the X-26 are both equally capable of preventing a test subject from voluntarily flexing his knee joint back from an extended position.

Commenting on the testing, Paul Feldman, President of LEA stated " To be able to archive these results in our comparison test using our SLA engineering model against our competitors finished product is remarkable."
