Pedro L. Martinez Has 19 Years of Experience in Defense and EMS Training


HARTFORD, CT, August 24, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Pedro L. Martinez, President, Founder and Owner of MarFig Trainings, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in defense training.

With 19 years of professional experience, Mr. Martinez specializes in firearms training. In 2004, he established MarFig Trainings, a self-defense organization that provides public safety firearms and emergency medical services training. Fluent in English and Spanish, he conducts bilingual classes in EMS and works primarily with police cadets and EMS firefighters. Mr. Martinez became involved in his profession because he was inspired by his father, who was a state trooper. He attributes his success to hard work and dedication.

Mr. Martinez earned his Associate Degree in Paramedical Studies in Puerto Rico. He is a member of the National Rifle Association.
